As a monumental work by an artist becomes, in this case a genius,
Miquel Barceló.
At the end of the summer of 2002 Miquel Barceló and the church of Majorca
come to an agreement for Miquel Barcelóto make a pottery wall of 300 square
meters. It will cover the walls of the lateral chapel of the greater altar of
the Cathedral of Majorca (sg. XIII). Miquel Barceló takes almost all the
year in Vietri Sul Mare (Italia) to get ready. The following year, in 2003, the
artist submerges completely in the project and finishes the mural in the month
of July. While the masterful ceramist Vincenso Santoriello, who helped him during
these months, put the pieces in the oven they are transferred from Salerno to
Palma, until the pieces settle in the Cathedral.
Of principle to aim, Miquel Barceló has coexisted with a team of film
directors. This documentary shows the kitchen of the artist in private, in his
